Xenia Rotary Foundation Board Report

The Xenia Rotary Board received a report from the Xenia Rotary Foundation Board. The Xenia Rotary Foundation is a separate entity from the Xenia Rotary Club. Currently the Foundation Board consists of Eric Fogarty, Jeff Brock & Dick Loveless. The role of the Xenia Rotary Foundation is to raise money to be used for specific Rotary causes. All distribution of funds must be approved by the Foundation Board. The Foundation Board is in the early stages of reviewing bylaws & establishing guidelines for disbursing funds. The Foundation Board will be seeking input from a group of Xenia Rotarians. This group will serve as consultants to the Foundation Board through this review process. Rotarian Emeritus
The Board approved a recommendation from the Membership Committee to add a new classification - Rotarian Emeritus- Xenia Rotary Club. A membership vote will be required to amend the club by-laws. Kent Martin will email the classification description to the entire club to be reviewed prior to club vote.

Pancake Day
The Xenia Rotary Club has been given the go ahead from the City Manager to hang a Pancake Day banner in downtown Xenia. Pancake day is scheduled for April 4. Tickets will be distributed to Rotarians March 13.

RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Academy)
The Xenia Rotary Club is sponsoring 2 Xenia High Scholl students to attend the Rotary Youth leadership Academy at the Dayton Engineers Club Thursday march 15. On behalf of the Rotary Club, Honorary Rotarian Vicki Huff selected Kent Anderson & Krsitina Miller.
